New On DVD

These are some of the new things on DVD that are of interest to me and may be to you.

1.) Wendy And Lucy......a touching, politically urgent road movie about a young drifter named Wendy (Michelle Williams) and her beloved dog, Lucy, lost on the roadsides of the Pacific Northwest.

2.) Gavin & Stacey: Season 1......This romantic comedy sounds so cliche.....two adorable people meet and fall in love......but the quirky supporting cast and relatable situations make it a must-see.

3.) The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.......Tells the story of Benjamin Button, a man who starts aging backwards with bizarre consequences. I have already seen this but am hoping my Dad will read this and buy for his own personal collection and then I watch at their house. (Hint, Hint)

4.) Enchanted April.....1992 British film about a group of ladyfriends.

Swine Flu Humor Is Everywhere

In Mexico everyone is wearing masks. People are getting bored of wearing the same thing, so they have started to decorate them in all kinds of styles.

And my
personal favorite.

Song Of The Day: Kristy, Are You Doing Okay By The Offspring

This video (and song) were inspired by real-life events that took place in Dexter Holland's (lead vocals, guitar) childhood. It depicts a teenage girl who writes continuously in her diary about a traumatic event. A boy in the class notices her, and suspects that something is wrong. However, he does nothing, and she is left alone. The school scenes are separated by Holland playing an acoustic guitar in an abandoned room with pages of the diary taped onto the walls
